Baby Cuteness!!

Well I just downloaded all the camera pictures to the computer so now I have some pictures to post! My cute baby boy is 8 months old! This is a really fun age. He is super smiley and fun to play with and even when he gets into things he shouldn't it's still really cute. It's hard to get mad a such a cute kid! Anyway, here are a few pictures...

See this little string? I swear that Jason has super-vision. Maybe it is just because he is always so close to the floor but I swear he has a supernatural ability to find small items on the floor such as this. When he finds them he examines them for a few minutes but if I don't catch him within those first minutes it goes straight into his mouth and then I have to fish it out. Who knows how many of these little treasures he has swallowed? I guess it hasn't hurt him yet!

It finally happened!

Welll folks, I know this may come as a shock to some of you, but yes, I am going to update the blog! It is spring break this week so I get to stay home with my cute baby boy and it has been so fun! He is almost 3 1/2 months old and he is really smiley, especially right after he eats. :) He is also making lots of baby noises now, especially when someone is talking to him. He also gives me a big smile when I go in to get him after waking up from a nap. He is just adorable! Anyway, I finally transfered the pictures from the camera to the computer so I thought I would put a few on here.

Okay this is obviously not a picture of Jason, but it is my home-cooked version of Cafe Rio. It turned out really well and I was quite proud of myself.

Well I changed our blog to a new background but our old background is still behind the posts I have done in the past so I wanted to see what would happen if I did a new post...here goes nothing!

Pinewood Derby!

Tomorrow morning our ward is having a breakfast/pinewood derby for the Elders' Quorum and their families. As you can see Dan is busily preparing his car. He is really excited about the race and is trying to make his car the most amazing one ever. However, he is working with limited resources and is dealing with a few challenges. The biggest one being that he needs to make the car weigh 5 oz and at the moment he has it only up to 3 1/2 oz. However, I have faith in my husband and in his amazing skills. I'll post a picture of the finished product when it is done!

My Wonderful Husband

To the right you can see my wonderful husband in the kitchen doing the dishes. It was a Sunday and we had just eaten dinner. Doing the dishes after dinner is not an uncommon occurance but you may notice something a little bit strange in this picture...do you see them? If you notices the two kitchen chairs blocking the entryway into the kitchen you are correct! My dear husband decided that I was not allowed to enter the kitchen and help with the dishes so he decided to block the way with the chairs. You can kind of see the look he is giving me, warning me to stay out, in the picture. Don't I have a wonderful husband?

Spring Break!

Sorry, no pictures to go along with this one, mostly because I am too lazy at the moment to upload one! Just a quick update on what is going on with us. This week is my spring break from teaching so I am trying to finish all the projects I want to do but can't because I don't have enough time. I think that is a losing battle though. Dan is in his last week of classes and is very busy getting all of the finishing touches put on his classes. We are both excited for this semester to be over but the excitement won't last for too long because summer school starts on May 6. Something exciting is that our one year anniversary is coming up on May 2! We have almost made it a whole year. It's been great! Well, that's what's happening with us so ta ta for now!
